Maria Brosnan

Professor Brosnan earned her Master's Degree in Nursing at Rush University of Chicago, a Post-Graduate Degree at Frontier Nursing University, and her Baccalaureate of Science degree at Loyola University of Chicago.
Amanda Evans

Amanda is a proud alumna of Carroll College, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016. After completing her undergraduate studies, she worked locally in Helena, gaining valuable experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including oncology, perioperative services, and outpatient as a family medicine nurse practitioner.
Zuleyha Inceoz

Dr. Zuleyha Inceoz is an Associate Professor and dedicated researcher with extensive clinical and academic expertise in nursing. Her career spans diverse healthcare settings, including intensive care units (ICUs), medical-surgical wards, emergency departments (EDs), and home health care. The majority of her clinical experience lies in emergency and trauma care, where she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, the nursing profession, and nursing education.
Janet Johnson

Janet earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Nursing Education from Benedictine University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carroll College. Janet has practiced in adult medical surgical and medical/cardiac intensive care units.
Melissa Lewis

Melissa earned her Master's Degree in Nursing Education at University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University, Phoenix, Arizona. Her background includes over 13 years at Mayo Clinic Arizona working in the Intensive Care Unit, Post Anesthesia Care and Pain Management. Melissa spent over 2 years as a RN Team Leader in the Pain Clinic.
Katherine Pieper

Kate serves as an Assistant Professor at Carroll College in Helena, MT, where she specializes in curriculum development and nursing education with a focus on leadership, psychosocial health, assessment, and resiliency. Her diverse career spans emergency services, nursing administration, and surgical orthopedics, showcasing her dedication to nursing excellence and patient-centered care.
Lauren Swant

Lauren Swant earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Health Sciences Executive Leadership from the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Indiana State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. She has also earned certifications as a Certified Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse (RNC-NIC), a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
Deanna Thompson

Deanna earned her PhD in nursing from the University of Arizona, her bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master’s in Nursing Degrees from Montana State University Bozeman, her Master’s in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ. She has spent most of her career in emergency medicine nursing.
Meghan Kiser

Meghan began her professional nursing career at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, OR. While there, she found her passion for caring for children and their families.
Karina Hass

Karina started her career in healthcare in 2009 as a CNA. While working full time and attending college, she earned her LPN, RN and BSN and has worked in areas spanning Med/Surg, Oncology, Step-down, and Intensive Care.
Terri John
- Administrative Specialist, Nursing
Terri John, BA, has provided administrative support for the Department of Nursing since 1999. She is an alum of Carroll College (1985) whose special interests include qigong, creative writing, reading, hiking, nature, holistic health, and spirituality.
