Komparelt Higher Education Scholarship For Those Who Have Lost A Parent

Scholarship Amount:  $1,000
Eligibility:  All applicants must be enrolled, or due to be enrolled, as a full-time student at an accredited US College or University for the semester they are applying to receive the scholarship.
Application Details:  Please write a 1,000 word essay answering the following questions:

Kara Paul

Kara Paul grew up in the rural County of Ka'u, on the Big Island of Hawai'i, while being homeschooled with Seton Home Study School. She attained her Associate of the Arts Liberal Arts degree at her local community college and then graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo with highest honors and a double major in English and Communication. While attending college she worked part-time and had several paid writing jobs.
