Izzy Geraghty

My name is Isabella “Izzy” Geraghty. My family and I moved around a lot but we eventually settled down in Las Vegas, NV. During my time living in Las Vegas, I went through certain obstacles in my life that inspired me to want to help others. Therefore, going the clinical route and figuring what that would look like for me was something that studying Psychology would help me with.

Attending Carroll College was one the best decisions I ever made. It felt like home, a place where I grew academically and as a whole person. I had the opportunity to join the Up till Dawn Executive Board, a program that raises awareness and funds for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. I even travelled to St. Jude’s where I met courageous patients, their families, a dedicated medical team and students ready to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Sara Swartout Pelett

After graduating from Carroll with a double major in public relations and communications, with concentrations in business and journalism, I started my career at Jesuit High School, where I worked as part of their development team managing fundraising events. The education I received at Carroll helped me land the job at Jesuit, which in turn started my passion for event planning. At Jesuit I was also able to talk to students about my time at Carroll, as well as participate in student retreats that were similar to those I experienced at Carroll.
