ACE Program
The Advanced College Experience (ACE) program is an opportunity for highly motivated high school students to engage in Carroll courses. Each student may enroll in up to 2 100-level courses (no more than 8 credits) or applicable 200-level courses with available seats after current student registration. The course schedule can be found online.
Open to all local area high school students who meet the qualifications:
- Junior or senior level in high school
- minimum 3.25 high school cumulative GPA
- approval of parent and high school counselor
Application is open; Application deadline July 15.
The application will need to be printed to be signed by a parent/guardian and high school counselor and must include a copy of your high school transcript.
Cost:
Students will be responsible for a $50 per credit ACE tuition charge, plus a $60 semester fee to cover technology and parking, plus any course fees. The typical student enrolling in one 3-credit course would pay $210-$240, or in one 4-credit course with lab would pay $260-$320 depending on course/lab fees.
Students will need to attend a brief orientation session before classes begin and will be sent more information about this over the summer.
