Dr. Alex Street grew up in the UK and has a BA from the University of Oxford. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Street studies Comparative and American politics, focusing mainly on political participation. He has published articles about why immigrants naturalize, how voters choose between candidates, how immigrants develop a preference for political parties, and how voter registration laws affect turnout, among other topics. Dr. Street has served as an expert witness in court cases on voting rights in several states.

Education: M.F.A. Creative Writing (Fiction), 1996 University of Arkansas; M.A. English, Radford University; B.A. English, Concord University, 1991; B.S. Civil Engineering, Bluefield State College, 1987. Areas of interest and research include: Creative writing (especially fiction), composition, the contemporary American short story, American literature after the Civil War, and Bruce Springsteen.

Kimberly Shire has an MFA in Directing Theatre for Young Audiences and Costume Design from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. While at UHM, Kimberly served as the Late Night Theatre Artistic Director and as staff reviewer for Hitting The Stage. Kimberly also directed and worked as a teaching artist for Honolulu Theatre For Youth where she was mentored by Dan Kelin in creative dramatics and Eric Johnson in directing.

Natalie Chew is an Oregon native but has lived in Montana for over 24 years. She attended classes at both Portland State University and the University of Montana. Natalie played for the
Lady Griz Volleyball team while studying Cell and Molecular Biology. Natalie has experience in both the public and private business sector. Her husband Christopher is an active duty 1SG with
the Civil Support Team out at Ft. Harrison. After spending almost ten years as a Senior Specialty Sales Representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, she then stayed home to raise their two
