Guadalupe Overview

Option for layout within a Guad roomDesignated primarily for First Year students and known as "Guad" to its approximately 350 residents, this residential hall is co-educational in nature and separated into two separate wings (known as the "St. Mary" and "St. Joe" wings). Each wing offers double-occupancy rooms with limited triple-occupancy options on each floor. Basic amenities include personal closets/wardrobes, twin XL beds, dressers, desks and desk chairs. Most rooms also have a sink.

At the community level, there are shared restroom and shower facilities on each floor. There are also laundry rooms throughout the building, multiple social spaces (including the famous "Fish Bowl," a bright and open community space where students gather to study, chat, and relax), and a community kitchen. Guadalupe hall also houses Carroll College's Wellness Center, a convenient location for all Carroll students to access counseling and health services, should the need arise.

Finally, each residential floor is home to a Resident Assistant (RA) and a Peer Minister (PM), both of whom serve as community leaders and resources for students as they adjust to college and community life.
