Lives of the Carroll Saints is a recurring, episodic podcast that shares the personal stories that connect listeners to the Carroll College community. Through reflective, conversational interviews, the podcast highlights alumni, faculty, staff, students, donors, and friends whose lives have been shaped by their connection to Carroll.

Each episode features a rotating host from within the Carroll community who invites a guest who makes an impact on Carroll College or inspires reflection on what it means to be a Carroll Saint. Conversations are informal and story-driven, focusing on lived experience, relationships, and the moments that create a lasting sense of belonging.

Patrick’s journey began in Yakima, Washington, where a visit from a Carroll admissions counselor led him to Helena and into a community that would define his life’s work. As a student, youth minister, and longtime member of the Student Activities team, Patrick has spent decades walking alongside students and helping shape the Carroll experience.

In this conversation, Patrick shares the people and moments that influenced him most, from mentors like John Downs and Father Peoples to the quiet spaces on campus that still inspire his reflection and faith today. He speaks about the meaning of the Carroll mission, the importance of recognizing the dignity of every person, and the ways small acts of care can change the course of a life.
