Down Syndrome Awareness Walk

The Special Olympics Club at Carroll College is hosting an annual walk for awareness to celebrate our Special Olympics athletes and community members with Down Syndrome. Down Syndrome (also known as Trisomy-21) is celebrated nationwide on March 21 (3/21). As a club, they would like to honor those individuals with this disability, especially since we have several as members of our Executive Board and Helena Halos. Members of the community are invited on a mile-long walk around campus to celebrate all the work that our campus has been doing.
