Jay Nelson has over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, mainly with the Montana Highway Patrol. He has served in multiple leadership and training roles centered on safety and security during his lengthy career, and between 2020-2024, he served as the Public Information Officer. In this role, Jay has managed communication to wide audiences both internally to Montana Highway Patrol and externally across the state.
