 As the pre-championship excitement mounts, new game-watch gatherings have been announced both in Helena and beyond Montana in Springfield, Oregon. Check out the latest game-day party locations here: http://www.carroll.edu/alumni/ In the quite likely event our five-time champs return home with trophy number six, the team, coaches and cheer squad will host a celebration this Sunday, Dec. 19, in the Campus Center from 10 a.m. to noon. The players and coaches will be signing autographs, and hot-off-the-press new championship attire and gifts will be on sale in the Saints' Shoppe bookstore. Meet the stars, and be the first to get championship goodies before Christmas for the Saint on your list! WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: NEW GAME TIMES AND DATES! Contrary to what was reported in yesterday's QNs, the basketball weekend fun has been enhanced with a Friday double-header tonight in the PE Center. It starts at 5 p.m. with the women tipping off versus Concordia University, followed by the men's game versus Minot State U. at 7 p.m. Basketball action continues on Saturday, with the women taking on Kings University at 7 p.m., also on the home court. EVERYBODY'S GETTING INTO THE ACT Since US Senators rarely get any attention, it was little wonder that two of our elected public servants took the championship as the opportunity to grab the headlines.
