Last Saturday evening, Dr. Cech and Victoria participated in their second ROTC Dining Out formal event hosted by the Carroll College Saints to the Front ROTC program. The event, involving over 200 guests, was well attended by family, friends, and distinguished guests from over eight states. The evening was a celebration of the program's 33 cadets, with a special focus on the graduating seniors this spring, Ashley Rose and Tanner Ahmann, as well as Coulter Cloninger and David Luhmann, who are set to graduate and be commissioned in December.
The custom of “Dining Out” is thought to have formally begun in sixteenth-century England in monasteries and universities and then formalized in the British and later American branches of the military.
Deepest thanks to Captain Clayton Cantrell, Carroll’s ROTC Director, and Natalie Chew, the program assistant, for their diligent organization and coordination of the event. Carroll is proud to be the home of Montana's second-largest ROTC program, which offers substantial scholarships to our students, significantly reducing the cost of attending college.
