The Musical Theatre Appreciation (THT-189) course offers an overview of the fascinating history of musical theatre while spotlighting specific musicals. The students will have an opportunity to bring moments in musical theatre to life, learn famous group numbers, and explore which shows are meaningful to them.

- Understand musical theatre's relationship with society
- Learn of musical theatre's history
- Understand the skills in musical theatre performance
