Students, Faculty, and Staff,
Please note the below testing times and locations so that you can receive your COVID-19 test as you come back to campus. Carroll College will be using a new method for testing this spring semester which is easier to administer and provides faster results. Test results are available in 24 to 48 hours. Students who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days should email covid19@carroll.edu and do not need to test within that 90-day period.
This protocol is intended for the collection of the normal saliva that naturally pools in the mouth. No coughing or sniffing prior to sample collection is required. Water should be avoided 10 minutes prior to collection. Other drinks, food, chewing tobacco, and nasal sprays should be avoided for 30 minutes before sample collection.
Results are sent to both the individual who tested and appropriate college officials. Students, faculty, or staff who are COVID-19 positive may hear first either from a college official or receive their results directly from the lab. In either case, individuals who are contacted and are positive for COVID-19 should fill out this form immediately and follow the guidelines.

On-going Testing – Everyone
Starting on Monday, January 25, faculty, staff and students can be tested on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9-11:30 am in the Wellness Center. Additional testing opportunities will be communicated in coming days.
Athletes that are in-season will be required to test according to the testing protocols set by the NAIA, Frontier Conference, and Cascade Conference.
Dining Services
Sodexo will be expanding the number of food stations as the semester begins including more fresh options served by Sodexo staff in order to keep lines moving quickly and to ensure food safety. Dining staff have created a better traffic-flow process to cut down on lines and distancing issues. New procedures have been put in place as well for delivering meals to students in quarantine and isolation. In the dining room, everyone should wear their masks properly at all times except when actively eating.
General Campus Guidelines
Masks will continue to be worn on campus following the guidelines that were in place this fall. Lewis and Clark Public Health has not changed any directives since the end of the fall semester, thus the mask mandate, social distancing guidelines, and enhanced cleaning procedures all remain in place on campus. Students, faculty, and staff should be prepared for these guidelines to continue throughout the semester.
Welcome back, Saints! Thank you for all you do to keep the campus safe, healthy and vibrant.
