Carroll College Achieves 81% Medical School Placement Rate, Surpassing National Average

(Helena, MT) – Carroll College is proud to announce the continued success of its pre-medical program, which has achieved an impressive 81% medical school placement rate over the past decade. This far exceeds the national average of 43%, which demonstrates Carroll’s commitment to preparing students for successful careers in medicine.

Over the last ten years, 161 Carroll College graduates have been accepted into esteemed medical schools across the nation. Notable MD and DO programs where Carroll alumni have secured spots include the University of Washington School of Medicine, Creighton University School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine, Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Among these successes, the University of Washington School of Medicine stands out, having accepted 62 Carroll graduates during this period. Carroll's pre-medical program has seen a growing interest in osteopathic medicine, with more students opting for DO programs—a reflection of the expanding opportunities and evolving landscape in the healthcare profession.
