In order to participate in our scholarship contest, student applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The applicant must be a current or former athlete at the high school or college level.
- The applicant must be a current college student or high school senior entering college.
To enter, applicants must write a 400-500 word essay describing how the lessons they have learned through playing sports have positively impacted them in pursuing their college education.
The student selected by our committee gets $1,000 usable towards the cost of tuition and books.
The essay deadline is July 1, 2019. Students can email their essays to scholarships@athleticscholarships.net.
