Four Carroll students joined Dr. Eric Sullivan, assistant professor of mathematics, for the Intermountain Section of the Mathematical Association of America. Carroll students Daniel Olszewski, Erica Wiens, Lizzy Younce, and Marcellus Randall presented their research projects to attendees. "Going to a conference like the MAA Section Meeting allows students to network with other students, show off the research that they've done, and to learn about other math research projects that students and faculty have done around the intermountain west. It is a great catalyst for students thinking about graduate programs or pursuing careers in the mathematical sciences,” said Sullivan. |
