Carroll College Career Services in collaboration with several state agencies and the City of Helena will host the 3rd annual Career & Public Service Career Expo. The event will be career fair-style, allowing organizations to promote available positions and/or internship opportunities.
Students will have opportunities to approach employers to inquire about job opportunities and internships or gain information about each organization, career field, or industry.
Registration opens on August 23.
Career Exploration Pathway: open to local area High Schools from 1:30-3:00 PM. However, Carroll students unable to attend the morning session, are also encouraged to participate during this timeframe.
Industry employers represented will include Accounting/Finance looking to hire for tax season, as well as various Health Care Entities. The City of Helena; State of Montana-agencies represented include (but not limited to): Dept. of Commerce; Dept. of Corrections; Dept. of Environmental Quality; Dept. of Health and Human Services; Dept. of Justice; Dept. of Natural Resources, Dept. of Revenue; Dept. of Transportation; MT Legislative Branch; as well as local area resources; Employment Agencies; Job Service, MT Conservation Corps.
