About
I was born and raised in a small town in Northwest Montana. Growing up, I was always interested in wildlife and the outdoors. I spent countless hours fishing and camping during the summer.
In my junior year of high school, I joined the Montana Army National Guard. I attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC, in 2003. I have been deployed twice, once to Iraq from September 2010 to November 2011 and then to Afghanistan from May 2018 to March 2019. My most recent assignment was as a Combat Medic Instructor at Fort Harrison.
My wife and I have a small farm outside of Helena where we raise everything from cows to chickens. We also continue to serve in our community as a foster family and have three kids who keep us moving in multiple directions all the time.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and caring for all the animals.
