About
Marisa (Arneson) Dieter graduated from Carroll in 2014. Marisa currently works in the Special Pathogens Unit treating COVID-19 patients at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA.
My name is Marisa (Arneson) Dieter and I graduated from the Carroll College Nursing program in 2014! I started working as Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, right after graduation and have worked there ever since. I started in the Emergency Department and worked as a trauma nurse for three years before I transferred to the Intensive Care Unit.
Recently we have opened our Special Pathogens Unit which is one of 10 units in the country designated to handle Ebola patients. My co-workers and I are caring for our COVID-19 patients in this unit. This makes for long days but the support of my work family and our community has been overwhelming! My co-workers are always coming up with ways to make work fun and brighten the lives that they touch.
When I was at Carroll people would tell me that everywhere they went they would run into Carroll grads and people in the Carroll community. Now that I am out in the world, I find this to be very true! I am honored to be a part of this community.
Go Saints!
