Description of Responsibilities:
I am currently a senior software engineer working in Portland Oregon at a small(ish) (when I started at least) startup. My focus is working with analytics and machine learning. Overall, Portland is a pretty decent place but, I do miss Helena.
Notable Memory from Carroll:
It really does feel like yesterday spending my days in the networking lab. I miss those days quite a bit. I also have to say I am thankful for the classes in databases every time I am writing SQL on the job! I enjoy thinking to myself, "what would Steve say about this ERD or table relationship" and, promptly fix a poor decision.
