About
Erik Rose grew up hunting, fishing, raising pigs, and playing football in Seeley Lake, MT. He studied business at the University of Montana and was engaged in student government, residence life, intramural sports, and many student organizations. \After graduating, Erik spent four years teaching English and promoting cultural awareness in Montana’s sister state of Kumamoto, Japan. From 2014 to 2028, Erik worked at the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education, where he played a leadership role in many Montana University System initiatives.
He came to Carroll in the fall of 2018 to serve as the Director of Institutional Research. In that role, Erik supported several College-wide efforts such as Strategic Planning, new program development, COVID response, data reporting, and enrollment initiatives.
Erik and his wife, Tomoko, have lived in Helena since 2014 with their children, Noah and Claire.
I am thrilled to join our excellent Enrollment Management team and I am looking forward to building upon our successful recruiting and financial aid strategies. It will be an honor to play an integral role in supporting our Mission of instilling an enduring wonder for knowledge that will prepare students for leadership and their chosen vocations.
