About
Collin Burkhart is the Systems and Web Services Librarian for the Corette Library and Simperman Learning Commons. He maintains the library’s website, and other important library systems like the online library catalog, the digital archives, and the Carroll Scholars repository.
Collin obtained his Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS) degree from the University of Kentucky, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in communication from Montana State University Billings, and an Associate of Applied Science in Web Technology from Flathead Valley Community College. He previously spent five and a half years working at the Flathead Valley Community College Library as a Library Technician and their resident tech expert. His experience includes integrated library systems, coding in web programming languages like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, and academic technology, among other things.
Collin grew up in Kalispell, Montana and enjoys reading, tabletop games, and hiking. He’s very fond of libraries and an advocate for their continued importance to education and research today, and is excited to be a part of the Carroll College community
