Carter Anderson graduated from Carroll in 2019. As a freshman pre-med student, Carter happened upon his passion for language and earned degrees in biology and French. His senior year, he completed a virtual portfolio outlining how French has aided him in all facets of his personal and professional life (check it out here). His research on the former colony of French Polynesia and race policy in France, as well as studding abroad in Angers, provided novel insights and experiences. Combining his love of French and the sciences, Carter is currently attending optometry school, hoping to work closely with French-based retailers and serving in solidarity with peoples of francophone African countries.
