About
Amber Barnes is a Carroll College 2004 alum and the FLEX Marketing Director as well as the assistant to the Department Chair.
She has been teaching, directing, assistant directing, and assisting the department since 2015. Prior to moving back to Helena, she was the Youth Conservatory Assistant for 6 years at Venture Theatre, now NOVA Center for the Performing Arts in Billings, MT.
She is currently pursuing her MFA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Directing from University of Idaho.
Some of her favorite theatre projects are Shrek the Musical (Director), Maria and the Butterflies (Associate Director), and The Marvelous Wonderettes (Choreographer). When she isn't working and playing in the theatre department, Amber can be found working in the Registrar's Office at Carroll College or occasionally playing at Grandstreet Theatre.
Courses Taught: Intro to Acting, coordinator for the Theatre Intensive, known as Alumni Week.
