WTS is an international organization dedicated to building the future of transportation through the global advancement of women. WTS awards scholarships at the local chapter and national levels, and this year the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene chapter is fortunate enough to award two scholarships. We are seeking applicants for the Sharon D. Banks Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship, which is available to female students seeking an undergraduate degree in a transportation related field, and for the Maggie Walsh Leadership Legacy Graduate Scholarship, which is available to female graduate students pursuing degrees in transportation. Acceptable degrees can include engineering, planning, finance, logistics, etc. The Spokane/Coeur d’Alene chapter is awarding the two $2,000 scholarships, and the winners will be eligible for an additional $5,000 scholarship at the national level.
