Farmers State Bank Scholarship Program
The 2022 Scholarship will open February 1st and close March 15th.
In 2001, Farmers State Bank established a scholarship fund to assist qualifying high school seniors continue their education. Each year, a $10,000 scholarship has been awarded to a student from a participating high school in Darby, Hamilton, Corvallis, Victor, Stevensville, Florence and Missoula. The Bank will also award a scholarship to a senior from participating schools in Helena and Kalispell where the Bank’s newest branches are located, for a total of $90,000. For the first time, qualifying homeschooled and private school seniors are also eligible to apply if they meet eligibility requirements.
Farmers State Bank scholarships have benefited 151 students, with a total award distribution of over one million dollars. The awards are for $2,500 each and renewable for up to three years, to a total of $10,000 per student. Eligibility is based on full-time attendance at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school, and a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
