Our lifelong experiences with money shape how we spend and save. Ask your students to share their early money memories in the 2017 My Story Essay Contest, and they could win $1,500 for college! To enter the contest, students submit essays answering the following prompt: “Describe one of your earliest money memories. What did you learn from it? How has it shaped your approach or attitude towards your future financial life?” Starting Sept. 19, students can visit the My Story contest page to submit their short essay and the official entry form. We'll select six winners, and prizes include:
• One grand prize winner: $1,500 • One second place winner: $750 • Four runners up: $250
