toKaren Cody, MD is the Medical Director for the developing Physician Assistant Program at Carroll College. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN in 1993 and her Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL in 1997. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine from the University of Wyoming in 2000. She is board-certified and has been providing a full array of family medicine care in Helena since 2000.

toRachel Mattern, PA-C, is the Director of Clinical Education for the developing Physician Assistant Program at Carroll College. A Carroll College alumna from the class of 2000, she achieved her degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in 2004. She has been board certified for 20 years and achieved a Certificate of Added Qualification in Emergency Medicine in 2016. She has practiced clinically in family medicine, dermatology, pediatrics and emergency medicine.
