Students, Faculty, and Staff,
As we head into the middle portion of the semester please be mindful of wearing masks and taking other precautions to keep the campus safe. As President Cech reminded us earlier this week, it is important that each person does their part.
Dining Services
Currently Sodexo is on track to reopen on Saturday, February 13, with a special thank you meal for the campus in recognition of our working together and students’ patience during their time of need this week. Due to contact tracing of employees, Sodexo is operating with a very small staff and our students’ understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated. Throughout the pandemic, the campus and Sodexo have learned a great deal and have made consistent adjustments to improve service including the expansion of options at the beginning of the semester.
In the meantime, anyone who needs more than one meal, gluten free, or other dietary adjustments needs to simply ask as they pick up their meals. An update will be sent on Friday regarding the ongoing operations of campus dining.
Vaccination Clinics On Campus
Carroll College is proud to be the “second dose” drive-thru vaccination clinic site for Lewis and Clark County. More information can be found on the website. Currently students, faculty, and staff are not eligible for the vaccine unless they fit the criteria outlined by Lewis and Clark Public Health and the State of Montana. We will communicate directly with these groups as they become eligible. Having the vaccination clinic on campus is a great service to the community and prepares the campus well for when vaccines may become available. If vaccines are eligible to students this spring, it will be optional and the Marching Forward team will continue to discuss appropriate guidelines going forward.
Asymptomatic Student, Faculty and Staff testing
Ongoing COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic students, faculty and staff continues next week:
- Mondays & Tuesdays
- 9 am - 11:30 am
- Wellness Center
- No appointment necessary
Only individuals who are asymptomatic should come to the Wellness Center. If you have symptoms, contact the Wellness Center or your healthcare provider and follow the guidelines on the Marching Forward website under the heading “If you feel ill.”
Thank you,
Marching Forward Team
