Paint-A-Paw Fundraiser for Collar Scholar

Paint a Paw Graphic

Collar Scholar will be supplying the Saints Shoppe with the paint kits for the month of March.

This event is an opportunity to purchase a paint kit for your pets at home! The paint kits can serve to involve your pet in the same activities you enjoy. The kits can serve to remember a pet long after you say goodbye. In general, this activity is a great way to engage the human-bond as a campus that has 10% of the student body already learning about it. The kits also will provide some educational materials about Canine Companions for Independence and what the earnings of the kits are going towards.

The Collar Scholars club will benefit from the funds in many ways. Canine Companions for Independence requires raisers to cover the costs of food, travel, toys, training equipment, and some veterinary care for the puppies in training. As a college student this can be a stressful component without financial assistance. The funds raised from the sale of these painting kits will serve as a fund for the puppies’ food, veterinary care, training equipment, toys, and travel during the time the puppy raiser is a student at Carroll and is a Collar Scholars member.

The general goal is to just give our student raisers a better financial base so they are not forced to pay for the raising costs out of their personal bank accounts. If you have any questions contact Alyson Galow at agalow@carroll.edu.
