ENGINEERS IN THE COMMUNITY
In October, two Carroll College Civil Engineering students, Wyatt Roberts (junior, Environmental Emphasis) and Harrison Clement (sophomore, Broadfield Emphasis) installed anchor brackets for a concrete structure that will be used as a Community Chalkboard. The chalkboard structure is located at Helena’s Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church and is the end product of a senior design project by 2016 Carroll students Cody Noffsinger and Dawson Solly. Read more.
TALKING SAINTS
The Carroll Talking Saints swept to victory at the Northwest College Trapper Rendezvous, held in Powell, Wyoming, November 3-4. The team won first place in school sweepstakes by sweeping the top four places in BP debate and the top eight speaker awards. The team added 17 awards in speech and drama. Leading the team was sophomore Kelsie Watkins from Snohomish, Washington, who reached finals in six events. Read more.
