SURF's UP The SURF was up last week as over 107 Carroll students presented their research at the Student Undergraduate Research Festival. Research projects spanned across disciplines and included such topics as:

Theology in Evolution
Storm Water Bio-Retention and Treatment System
Iron Deficiencies Related to Depression
Understanding Intelligence Through Writing

Carroll College’s Constitutional Studies program was recently awarded $23,925 from the Apgar Foundation to support programming during the 2017-18 academic year entitled, "Religious Freedom and the American Experiment." It is the third and final year of funding from the Apgar Foundation, which aims to promote education in constitutional governance in the western tradition. Read more.

Honors & Accolades
Three Carroll students were awarded for their exemplary commitment of service with the Raymond G. Hunthausen Outstanding Collegiate Citizenship Award. The selection committee chooses students who work to improve the lives of others through their own unselfish commitment of time, energy and compassion. This year’s recipients are Carly Colligan, William French, and Heather Huguet. Honorable Mention recipients were: Inderbir Bains, Oliver Carr, and Kelly Taft. Read more.
