Enactus Travels to San Bruno to Present on Helena Food Share Project

Enactus Team

Carroll College Enactus is traveling to San Bruno, CA to compete in the organization's regional competition. The team will present a multi-media summary of their entrepreneurial-based project with Helena Food Share

The Carroll chapter of Enactus,  an international nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring students to improve the world through entrepreneurial action, has been working with Helena Food Share and local schools this semester for their project, "Helena Hunger."

The project focuses on the needs of children in Helena and teaching the importance of nutrition. Throughout the spring semester, the group volunteered at Helena Food Share, collected nearly 300 pounds of food for Capital High School and visited classrooms at CR Anderson Middle School to teach children about nutrition and resources in Helena.

This month, they compiled their findings into a presentation that they will present at the regional Enactus competition in San Bruno, California, with the hope to continue on to Nationals.
