Ellee Page, a senior Business Financial Planning major from Colorado, gained invaluable hands-on experience during her internship with the Montana Board of Investments (MBOI). Driven by her interest in finance, Ellee proactively reached out to the head of the MBOI, securing one of four competitive, paid summer internships after a rigorous application process.
Working closely with teams in private equity, real estate, public markets, and fixed income, she was fully immersed in high-level finance. Among her notable achievements, Ellee pitched a new credit-backed security to the fixed-income team, conducting a full credit analysis and presenting her recommendations. The highlight of her internship was trading over a billion dollars on behalf of the state!
Inspired by the expertise of MBOI's highly educated staff, Ellee accelerated her studies to graduate from Carroll a year early, and has since been accepted into multiple graduate programs.
“My internship with the Montana Board of Investments was supremely educational and led me toward obtaining an MBA. So following the conclusion of my internship, I applied to graduate schools and will now be heading to Baylor University in Waco, Texas, this summer!”
