On August 9, Carroll College proudly celebrated the achievements of our third cohort of Accelerated Nursing students, who completed their BSN degrees. This milestone was honored with a traditional pinning ceremony, a time-honored ritual in the nursing profession for over 160 years. These exceptional graduates now join a legacy of compassionate care, a calling that is more critical than ever.
Our first two Accelerated Nursing classes set a high standard by achieving 100% first-time pass rates on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). We extend our best wishes to this latest cohort as they prepare to take their NCLEX in just a few short weeks.
Upon completing their NCLEX exams, our graduating nurses are embarking on a diverse range of professional journeys, each making a significant impact in their chosen fields. The paths they have taken vary greatly in the area of patient care they are focusing on, from critical access care to the Veterans Health system to trauma/general surgery. Our graduates will be working in hospitals in White Sulphur Springs and Missoula, Montana, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in Oregon, and in Washington. Their paths reflect the wide-reaching influence of our nursing program and the commitment of our graduates to providing exceptional care across the country.
For those interested in joining our Accelerated Nursing track, applications opened on August 8. Priority consideration will be given to those who apply before October 1 for the cohort starting in May 2025.
