Join us April 4-13, 2025, in the Carroll College FLEX Theatre for a family-friendly production by Finegan Kruckemeyer: Suzette Who Set to Sea.
In a small seaside village where men build boats and women do not, young Suzette knows she is different – she longs for the sea and believes she is meant for something greater than a life on land. So when a mysterious event occurs, Suzette is forced to do that most difficult thing – prove herself worthy of her destiny. Loading her loved ones onto a boat she has secretly built, Suzette sets to sea.
Staged in alley-style configuration, the whole family will be close to the action, featuring object puppetry, sea monsters, whimsy and fun for all! Designed for audiences of all ages, this play explores themes of bravery and destiny.
Tickets are $5 for children under 12 or those who have a Carroll ID, $12 for non-Carroll students, seniors, and veterans, and $15 for General Admission.
The FLEX Theatre is located in the lower level of the campus center near the corner of Benton and Lyndale in the building with the bookstore. We are wheelchair accessible and we have accessible seating. There is a wheelchair ramp on the East side of the building and an elevator that goes down to the theatre level.
