Carroll College Theatre Performs 'Journey to the World's Edge'

“Journey to the World’s Edge” presented by the Carroll College Theatre department tells the tale of a young girl named Brigid O’Grady from County Clare, Ireland, who sought normalcy in her life. Kept hidden away by her parents, Brigid sets off to discover the world she has been missing out on. Children, teenagers and adults will learn a powerful lesson and be fascinated by the rollicking tale.

Carroll College’s 19th annual children’s play, “Journey to the World’s Edge” is written by Harry Michael Bagdassian and Ernest Joselovitz and is directed by Carroll theatre professor Chuck Driscoll. “This captures the spirit of a life journey. You see that the desire to know and grow is unstoppable,” said Driscoll.

“Journey to the World’s Edge” will perform for Helena schools on April 23-25 and May 1 at 1 p.m. The theatre will also perform for the public on April 24-25 and May 1-2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Carroll College Theatre. Prices for general admission to the show are $5 and $3 for children under 12.
