About

Ross Peter Nelson is a playwright whose work has appeared in several states and across three continents. His work has been published in Ellipsis magazine and by Playground SF and Heartland Plays. His play Becoming Number Six recently took second place at the Las Vegas Little Theatre’s new works festival and his short plays such as Call Me Comrade and Zoloft Tango have also garnered awards. He is a co-founder of Raven's Feather Productions and directed their opening work, George Brant's Grounded. He also helps produce the Last Chance New Play Fest in Helena every fall.

As an educator, he has taught Playwriting at the University of New Orleans and Dramaturgy at Carroll College. Ross has also authored prize-winning short fiction and two technical books. He has an MFA from UNO and is a member of the Dramatists Guild.
