About

Jessi Bennion received her B.A. and MPA from the University of Montana and her Ph.D. from the University of Utah. She has taught courses in Political Science, including American National Government, Campaigns and Elections, Rural Politics, Media and Politics, Multicultural Politics, Public Policy Processes, Foundations of Public Administration, and more. Her Ph.D. is in American Government with an emphasis on behavioral politics. This means there is nothing more interesting to her than trying to understand why people believe and act the way they do about politics.

When she is not teaching, you will find her serving on the Board of Directors of West Mont, grabbing coffee with a friend, or heading to the family cabin on the Boulder River, south of Big Timber. She lives in Clancy with her husband, Jon, and her son, Jack.
