Dear Financial Aid Officer:
I am writing on behalf of the Montana State Organization, a division of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International (DKG). This organization is a group of Key Women Educators organized in North America, Central American, and Europe to help promote professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
On the State level, we offer up to three $500-$1000 (depending on the number of applicants) recruitment scholarships each year to women studying to be educators. The brochure that I have attached explains the opportunities available to women who are moving into or are currently juniors/3rd year students in the field of education. As interested students come to you for information, please print/copy/forward the brochure as needed. We want to give this money to deserving young women so please encouragement them to apply.
If this information needs to go to a different person in your institution, please forward it to them right away. I chose you to receive this as you are a part of the financial aid office. Thank you for your time and for making this available to the students. The application is not difficult; however, the March 31st deadline for submission is approaching. Please encourage these young women to apply. We all know every little bit helps! Thank you in advance.
