Morocco Alumni Trip

Do you need an escape from the winter weather? Do you want to join other Carroll Alumni and current students on the trip of a lifetime? Join us on our Faculty Led: Winter Break 2024 trip to Morocco!

The trip will be led by our beloved History Department chair, Dr. Jeanette Fregulia, and Shannon Ackeret, the Director of Global Education. Participants will depart for, Casablanca on December 27th, 2024, and will return home on January 13th, 2025.

This two-week adventure will take attendees through Morocco, from the iconic coastal port city of Casablanca to the “Pink City” of Marrakesh, the cultural capital of Fes, and Tangier, home of the royal summer palace. We will experience traditional rural markets in the countryside, traverse sand dunes on camelback, explore desert villages in 4x4s, and visit multiple UNESCO World Heritage sites. Travelers will immerse themselves in authentic Moroccan experiences, including an Arabic calligraphy class, pottery-making session, multiple cooking classes, and traditional Moroccan baths.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ring in the new year with fellow Saints in the beautiful country of Morocco. Spaces are limited so get your applications in now to secure your spot! The application deadline is October 07 at 11:59 Mountain time.
