Carroll College’s certificate in Healthcare Leadership provides a great opportunity for leaders in our field to come together and learn not only from experts, but each other; and in areas where we might not normally get exposure in our day-to-day jobs. The certificate is geared towards the working professional – consisting of “pre-work” and then a monthly full day seminar dedicated to a topic. In the seminar, there are variety of ways the speaker keeps us engaged, with open discussion among the participants and in breakout sessions. It is the best virtual learning I have participated in a long time. I cannot recommend this program enough for leaders in the healthcare industry to expand their knowledge of this complex and growing field. Effective Learning for Today’s Virtual World
At Carroll College, we have developed an innovative approach to learning in these difficult times. The program features a 3-step hybrid approach to accommodate current social conditions and allow greater access to distant participants:
- Learning-on-Demand to allow self-paced preparation lectures and content.
- Learning Live to enable discussion, engagement and interaction among participants and instructors.
- Learning Assurance: Self-assessment tools to assure learning and practical understanding.
The program is delivered from Oct to Apr 2021 with nine key modules paced at three week intervals. Learning on-Demand content is available weeks prior to the Learning Live sessions and learning assessment tools can be accessed any time after module delivery, and made available until the course ends.
Program concepts will be taught through lectures, case studies, simulations and small-team discussions. You'll have an opportunity to interact directly with the faculty, healthcare leaders, field experts and one another through this course. The instructors are leaders in healthcare practice and management, and academics with deep knowledge and experience of management topics in healthcare.

Credits & Costs
Completion of the Carroll College Healthcare Leadership Certificate awards the participant 15 continuing education units. Certificate and CEU’s are awarded upon completion of online assessments and participation in the Learning Live sessions.
The total cost for the program is $4200. All course material is included.
