A Centennial Celebration Event: Interfaith Symposium: "To Each a Key: Unlocking the Door to Interfaith Harmony;"  

THREE FAITHS, ONE CAMPUS
Wednesday through Friday, November 4-6, one of the most anticipated centennial celebration events finally arrives. Dr. Barry Ferst, professor of philosophy, has spent many months putting together a three-day interfaith symposium entitled, "To Each a Key: Unlocking the Door to Interfaith Harmony," sponsored by Carroll's Departments of Theology and Philosophy. The three-day event brings to campus Christian, Jewish and Muslim religious leaders from across the nation to dialog with faculty, students and the Helena community, including local faith leaders.

  • 4:00 Welcoming Remarks from Prof. Barry Ferst, Carroll Department of Philosophy and Dr. Tom Trebon, President, Carroll College
  • 4:15 A History of God in Theater, dramatic presentation by Carroll College Fine Arts Department
  • 5:00 What Does America Do Right? Round table discussion with Dr. Joseph Subbiondo, Carroll History Professor Robert Swartout, Rabbi Chiam Bruk, Prof. Barry Ferst (moderator)
  • 6:00 Middle East Buffet Dinner*
  • 7:00 To Each a Key: Unlocking the Door to Interfaith Harmony with speaker Dr. Joseph Subbiondo, President, California Institute for Integral Studies
  • 8:00 Audience Directed Dialoguing
