Your Executive Board Officers

President

Gabe Blomquist
Senior, Biology/Pre-Med
Hometown: Ryegate, MT

Gabe has been an actively involved in student govt. in both high school and college. He has worked at the United States Senate as an intern in Washington D.C., and as a page for the Montana Senate here in Helena.

Gabe's fondest Carroll memory is racing in the Homecoming Bed Race as a sophomore. "Even though we did not win and we may have looked like the weirdest team out there, the crowd was great and I had so much fun running across that field... oh yeah and then tripping head over heels with the rest of my team. We were, ahead until then."

Vice President

Tyler Evilsizer

Junior, International Relations & Political Science
Hometown: Helena, MT

Tyler wears many different hats (not literally) around campus. He is the current leader of SAVE and Students for a Just Society. "Everybody has an opinion that rarely makes it to the decision-making level. I will be available to listen and represent the student voice at Carroll."

Favorite Quote: Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.
--Margaret Mead

Secretary

Blair Parker

Freshman, Theater & Communications
Hometown: Cashmere, WA/ Maui, HI

Blair was an ASCC intern and freshman class senator, before becoming the ASCC Secretary. We love her because she is patient enough to do the tedious tasks this job requires. She is very organized, energetic, and hard working.

Some of Blair's fondest Carroll memories include dorm room "mishaps", acting in "A Christmas Carol", and late night "life chats" with her roommate. "We would stay up till 3 or 4 in the morning just sharing our pasts with each other. I guess I liked these best because a) I got to wear sweat pants and b) I finally found someone who understands me for who I really am, someone who sees me at my best, and at my worst and still is the one who stands by my side through thick and thin. That's a rare find, and when you do find someone like that, life is so much brighter."

Treasurer

Krister Kroll

Junior, Anthropology
Hometown: Boise, ID

Krister is an active volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters, an ambassador on campus, is an active leader in the Outdoor Club, and plays an active role in masses. "I am a person who people can casually bring up problems to, without having to come down to my office to see if I am in to take their opinion. I am also a very outspoken person who can move to get objectives thoroughly dealt with." Krister would like to set up a detailed paperless account management system that is more detail-oriented than most paper systems.

Krister's fondest Carroll memories took place on both his freshman backpacking trip and the one he led. "Both trips were phenomenal chances to meet people in a setting where people could display their own backgrounds and relate to those around them. You can learn a lot about a person when you spend a few days in the woods with them."
