HANIBAL, Mo. - The Carroll College volleyball team got strong efforts from Sammy Priddy and Christina Smetana en route to a pair of victories at the Hannibal-La Grange Tournament on Saturday.
The Saints (20-6) defeated hot Hannibal-LaGrange 25-22, 25-17, 25-18 and Stephens College 25-14, 25-7, 25-15 on Saturday.
"I think our offense ran really well," Carroll coach Moe Boyle said. "Our focus was on serve and serve receive and that showed in our offense."
Priddy had 30 kills in two matches en route to be named to the all-tournament team. Smetana had 10 kills and six blocks in the win against Hannibal-LaGrange and 12 kills and four blocks against Stephens.
Carroll returns to Frontier Conference action next Saturday against Rocky Mountain College in Billings.
The Saints' next home match is Oct. 29 against MSU-Northern.
