Alumni & Friends First Class Wine Tour...

Mark your calendars and plan to join us November 3-6, 2010 for a Napa/Sonoma Valleys wine tour.

Wednesday, November 3rd
Tour begins at 2:00 pm from the Meritage the newest four diamond resort & spa in Napa Valley
Chateau Montelena, beautiful french chateau on Jade Lake
St. Clements  voted best of 2009 local winemakers
Sterling Vineyards  ride a gondola up to the Sterling Winery
Dinner at the Culinary Institute of America  - located at the old Christian Brothers Winery/Monastery - brief history of area & wine making, wine tasting etiquette


Thursday, November 4th
Palmaz Vineyards - within Mount George - the tunnels & domes are equivalent to an 18-story building to maximize gravity-flow winemaking
Signorello Vineyards - a small family owned boutique winery using the "Vigneron" style of winemaking
Domaine Chandon - enjoy the beautiful gardens & sparkling wines
Somerston (Priest Ranch) - tour the ranch, try old fashion barefoot grape stomping (optional) and buffet dinner featuring organic ranch raised lamb among other delicious entrees paired with Somerston wines 

Friday, November 5th
Artesa Winery - enjoy a champagne brunch at this very modern winery with outstanding views
Ledson Winery - amazing architecture and wood work
Chateau St. Jean - tour the beautiful gardens 
Sonoma square - enjoy the little shops around the square
Buena Vista - visit this oldest winery in the valley
Dinner in the Meritage Wine Cave          

Saturday, November 6th
Morning choice of Golf, wine blending
or free time to explore downtown Napa

Full tour includes four nights accommodations at the Meritage Resort & Spa, three multi-course dinners with wine pairing, three breakfasts, a champagne brunch, three lunches with wine, all tour entrance & wine tasting fees, all gratuities and tax, deluxe transportation to wineries, airport transfers from Oakland or Sacramento

  • $1,965 per person (based on double occupancy)
  • $250 deposit is required to reserve space on the tour 
  • $364 single supplement (for single guest room)
